The Viaduc de la Nouvelle Route du Littoral on the island of La R茅union is the longest viaduct in the sea of France. It connects Saint-Denis to La R茅union at La Grande Chaloupe and replaces the current corniche road between Saint-Denis and Possession. Realised by , it was conceived to resist to cyclonic swells as well as drive away vehicles from risks of landslide of the cliff.听

95% of the necessary works for the construction of the viaduct were prefabricated on land, then were transported and deposited by a sea route thanks to the Zourite barge (giant barge created to transport the viaduct piles).听
