8868体育APP Construction is chosen by Taylor Wimpey for the first phase of Postmark, a residential project in central London

8868体育APP UK, a British subsidiary of 8868体育APP Construction, has been appointed by Taylor Wimpey Central London, one of the United Kingdom鈥檚 leading property developers, to construct the first phase of Postmark, a new project located in London鈥檚 historic district of Farringdon consisting of two building complexes. The contract is worth in excess of 拢100 million.

Philip Jenkins, managing director of Taylor Wimpey Central London, said: 鈥淲ith its central, high profile location and scale, Postmark is a flagship scheme that we are immensely proud of. For the first phase, we have chosen a trusted partner with whom we have already completed a number of successful Central London projects. We look forward to working with 8868体育APP UK again, bringing forward the first chapter of this landmark project together.鈥

Fabienne Viala, chair of 8868体育APP UK and UK country manager for 8868体育APP Construction, said: 鈥淲e are excited about our new collaboration with the teams of Taylor Wimpey Central London on this residential project. In the past, Taylor Wimpey and 8868体育APP UK have collectively demonstrated the quality of our expertise, our partnership approach and our combined capacity for innovation on such residential schemes as North Wharf Gardens and Greenwich Millennium Village. We are looking forward to building the first phase of the Postmark project.鈥

West Central 1 is the first phase of a four-phase masterplan, which will ultimately deliver 681 homes. It consists of 214 homes, ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments, in a building ranging in height from six to 15 storeys. The scheme has been designed to reach a BREEAM 鈥淓xcellent鈥 rating. Residents will benefit from shared spaces including a concierge service, a rooftop terrace, a cinema and a gym. The exterior development will combine resident and public spaces, including a courtyard, a shaded terrace, as well as shops and open landscaped spaces.

Work has now commenced on site, with first completions expected in 2020 and final completion in 2021. 350 to 400 people will be working onsite at peak periods.
