After being closed for 25 years, the Molitor swimming pool rose from its ashes in 2014 after 2 years of work. Renovation work transformed it into a high-class hotel and sports complex, while respecting the Art Deco spirit of its designer, Lucien Pollet. The indoor winter swimming pool, its double glass roof and its two levels of blue cabins were rebuilt, as was the outdoor swimming pool. The outdoor pool is bordered by a 5-star hotel, , with 124 rooms on 3 floors and a 90-seat lounge restaurant. The hotel was put on springs boxes to absorb vibrations from the nearby metro line. All this work was subject to acceptance by the Historic Monuments architect.
